Petals
A love so strong...
what could break this bond?
A lost hope. Nothing left to save
He loved her but couldn't stay
From his bed he rose to write his goodbye
In the light of his lamp he regrets and he cries
Plucking the petals from many a rose
He dropped them to show her the path that he chose
A petal for every "I love you" and a petal for every "goodbye"
A petal for each of his sorrows and a petal for each of his lies
Leaving her letter, her rose, and her love he left for his plan was now all that there was
The wind whipped his hair as he looked down below
Tears crashed to ground as his fingers let go
Soon it was over
the darkness had come
He was finally alone, everything had been done
She awoke in her bed from a nightmare she had
She could remember the reason why it was so sad
A dream of her love had stirred her from sleep
A dream of his jumping, a dream of his leap
Petals of red spread along her white sheets
Petals to show her a path of defeat
Following closely her eyes start to burn
The tears well inside as her heart gets concerned
The roses they lead down a lonely path
To the balcony where she looks to his death
Screams, tears, darkness again
Loneliness from her loss of a friend
Weeks seem to pass and her heart starts to die
The pain is too great as she asks herself "why?"
The water surrounds as the blade cuts her skin
The darkness she felt has come from within
Each petal she spreads and bathes turn to red
From the rose and the blood that she promised to shed
Now she stands alone on the balcony's edge
Blood spills from the wound and down to the stem
She lets herself fall from the greatest of heights
The darkness takes over the last of her light
Together in darkness they now must roam
But never again will they be alone

And God placed upon this earth the fruit of temptation...and I drank deeply from his cup of sin... now I suffer.

Life.. it's not about waiting for the storm to pass. It's learning how to walk in the rain.

After endless nightmares she lies weeping in her bed
A blade in her hand, her nightdress is turning red
Her skin becomes paler in this cold and stormy night
This is the end of all her painful dreams of suicide
